I was referred over to Dr. Nelson from my hip surgeon . Me and Dr. Nelson met and went over things for 45 mins together and he was very , very attentive to my situation and needs . He carefully would ask me questions about my Hip and medicines . It’s crystal clear that Dr.Nelson and his staff are top notch and very polite and more Pain Clinnics should operate and this high caliber level . I am also excited to get some shots and get my surgery handled in a couple months . I would recommended Dr. Nelson to anyone who is in pai... read more

My son who has Fibromyalgia, POTS and severe anxiety was sent to him to r/o MS due to newer symptoms. It seemed he had a lot of opinions on depression and anxiety, and how he felt my son being young could overcome his depression. My son said, that many younger people overcome these feeling by suicide. We were insulted how he focussed on his mental issues rather than his physical ones. My sister had also gone to see him and he also went on about her mental diagnosed issues. He is NOT a board certified Psychiatrist and seems t... read more

I am most grateful for Doc Nelson, PA Des Hammer the nursing staff and all. I had a back surgery six years ago that did not turn out as promised, though I knew the risks. My condition is complicated with additional damage to vertebrae from falls. The treatment I have received has been the very best, better than I could have expected from Doctor Nelson. The SCS is working, the epidurals over the last year have eased the pain and I am now able to go daily without pain meds including any Ibu's and aspirin. His staff offers the ... read more

Dr. Alex Nelson diagnosed me with epileptic seizures, told me he would get orders sent in for scans (he never did) I have been calling and leaving voicemails for weeks trying to get my scans and get back in to see him, none of my calls have been returned and he actually told my pharmacy “no” on refilling my medication today but couldn't answer any of my 3 calls today. He seems like hes always in a hurry and has something better to do than what he signed up for when he became a doctor, i’ve never had an experience with a doct... read more

I love how he really tries to look past the obvious things that might be happening to cause my pain and discomfort. He loves to help us feel like we are a human being and not just a number or another patient who is looking for an easy way out of our pain and suffering. He will understand what is happening with our health problems.
