I had a TKR in October 2014. Dr Lombardi made me feel comfortable and his staff was very kind. The whole experience from the time I arrived on Friday at 6 am until I was discharged on Monday, was wonderful. The surgery went extremely well and my care at New Albany Hospital couldn't have been any better, right down to the food. Dr Lombardi is very, "matter of fact". I liked that about him, right to the point, let's get it done. My next TKR is scheduled for July 26. Looking forward to no pain.
Last May I had a total hip replacement--it went so well that I had a second one done in June--it also went very well. Dr. Lombardi is an excellent surgeon. I recommend him to everyone who asks me how my surgery went. He and his team are very customer oriented and respond immediately to any questions or concerns one may have. It has been almost a year and I no longer have any back pain, hip pain, and I no longer walk hunched over.
Awesome surgeon! He's the one that the nurses recommend to family and friends.
