My daughter and I came to Northern Maine for a few days of rest and relaxation. We had a vehicle reserved and paid for at Budget at the airport. When we got there, we could not get the vehicle because neither of us have a credit card. There was no availability at the other rentals but the kind lady at National told us to try Downeast Toyota. LIARS LIARS DOWNEAST TOYOTA DOES NOT HONOR THEIR CONTRACTS ON LEASE VEHICLES. THEY JUST TOOK US TO THE CLEANERS THEY ARE TERRIBLE TO DEAL WITH AND WE LOVED THEM TILL TODAY. CROOKS

Every time I bring my car in they either charge me way more that what was quoted, they fix stuff I never asked them to fix without telling me (which leads to more money out if my pocket), the wait time is at least 1 hour longer than quoted or I have to bring the car right back in because it leaves with another issue that it didn't have before I came in. And when I point these things out, they argue with me. Yeah, I'm not doing it any more.
Dead battery on Dec. 31. Very happy that service dept was open. Got an appointment for about an hour after I called. Very happy with this because I feared being carless for 2-3 days because of New Year holiday. Good to go now!!!! Thank you!!
left there feeling like 2 monkeys worked on my truck 3 trips back and still did not get the repairs right , sad deal , because i have had 4 cars in there , 2 of which needed to be returned because theor QC guy did not do a QC job
The very best place to buy your next car. They are awesome people and have a fantastic service dept. Very clean. These people really care about you; you are not just a number to them. I have had them go above and beyond. Could never say enough good about them!! You will not be sorry to work with DownEast Toyota!!
The worst customer service ever! Brand new vehicle needing repair, they estimated $500 repair because of rodent damage. Took it to another Toyota dealer, no rodent damage and the part they wanted me to fix wasn't even the issue! Will never go there again!!!
