Bad business. Was told one thing and doubled charged a service fee on a repair that was not done correctly. Went to other ac companies to compare cost and find out problems. Went with this company due to positive reviews. AC still was not repaired correctly after the work was completed. Company returned a week later and did another assessment for 85.00 dollars more. Next thing I realized they were try to sell me new unit for 12k. Beware , don't use this company.

The A/C Unit Douglas Mechanical, Inc sold us in June 2023 has not worked properly since installation and Douglas has been unable/unwilling to fix it properly. Douglas’ Salesman guaranteed the *****5-Ton 2-Stage A/C Unit was sufficient to cool our 2400 sq ft home. We asked about Zoning and were told “Our home was too small for Zoning and the System would cool both upstairs and downstairs and would cut our energy use by 50%”. Working with Douglas Mechanical & ******** **** ****** with a home warranty coil replacement. Without going into all the details, I will tell you I am amazed and astounded by the proactive steps Douglas Mechanical took to get the problem handled. We even received a call from the owner (very unusual and unexpected) to discuss the situation and what options might be available. Douglas did a great job installing my new system! They were on time, protected my home, and cleaned up once they were done. After the install, they even sent someone out to inspect the work. THANKS FOR THE GREAT SERVICE!!!

On Monday, September 18, 2023, I received a text message from Megan of Douglas Mechanical Incorporation of spring, Texas. In this text message she wrote that they wanted to schedule a one time free seasonal tune up appointment. being September, I was reeled into believing a heating system service. **DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY** I went through a home warranty (First american Home warr.) for service and Douglas was called out. They claim to have fixed a leak on the outside AC unit a few months back only to have the same leak appear again this past weekend. Contacted them and spoke to Robert the service manager.
