I have recurring corneal erosion of uncertain origin. The painful episodes strike unpredictably and stop me in my tracks (unable to see, and relentless pain as if gasoline were in my eyes). Forget aspirin, acetaminophen, opioids ... totally useless. Every time it hits me, Dr. Dornic fits me in. Yes, the waiting room is always full---a sign that he must be doing something right! I'm currently a patient of Dr. Dornic. I've had cataract surgery in one eye and will be having the other done soon. Prior to this I researched my area and had another consultation with a highly acclaimed specialist. I decided to go with Dr. Dornic based on his expertise and calm manner. I found Dr. Dornic to be exactly as I heard from others who had received treatment from him. He was kind, professional, and answered any questions I had in a way I was able to understand. Dr. Dornic took the time to clearly explain treatment options, patiently waited for my decision and completed our plan to restore quality vision. Not a good experience and service was a joke. First his assistant staff was rude, do not bother to explain what she was doing. She put eye dilate drop three time instead of one. She do not care where the drop fell so ended up giving three time. I could not drive by this high dose and have to leave my car and had to ask someone help. She was asking me to read the alphabet and was checking her cellphone frequently. Wait time is immense, able to see him after 1.5 hour, no apology. After going to Dr. Dornic fo glaucoma treatment he had it in check with eye drops. I then developed cataracts and had a difficult time seeing at all. We decided on cataract surgery which was a great success. Not only did he remove the cataracts, but placed a stint in each eye to cure the glaucoma. He and his staff are amazing, as well as being kind and personable!
Professional and Precise, my lens implant went seamlessly perfect. I now have 20/20 I live in a high def world this is amazing. Dr. Dornic gave me his personal cell # - a quick text to have a question answered takes the guess work out of your post op care if you forgot something.
