Never had I had such horrible Mexican food... I am hardly ever rude..But this is just how bad it was. Not their Chile Verde, the rice, beans, taco, enchilada, chicken burrito or 7mares. I tried everyones plate & absolutely NOTHING hit the spot!! So disappointed. The tamales was okay...that cause it tasted like a microwaveable one.
I Was there for Sunday brunch it was very good as always!! Coming here brings back alot of good memories.
I had the chance to go earlier doday to have breakfast at Dona Esthers Restaurant and I really enjoyed the food it was really good and the service was excelent the environment was good they had a lived trio singing I really recomend this placed you wont regret

We love Dona Esthers and eat there every time we are in the area - a real treat. The last visit we sat in the patio and ate the best chile relleno I have ever had. The wait staff is friendly and so efficient even when we were the only ones sitting in the patio. Great place.
The food was really good Mexican food. Love the patio area . Real confront to east there.
Had the best dinner this last Saturday. My parents came from Rocklin Ca for a visit and we went here for dinner. The best strawberry margaritas and we had our dinner served very fast. Everyone that worked here was smiling great place thank you Doña Esther's!
Awesome jumbo shrimp enchilada !!!
I enjoyed stopping in when in San Juan, but often too loud. Needs a bit updated. There is and old smell. Staff friendly. Food okay.
