We met up with my cousin and her husband last Sunday and had a wonderful brunch! Ophelia was are server and she took such great care of us. She even brought me a slice of fabulous flan cake with a candle for my birthday! I had the huevos con chorizo, and it was without a doubt, the best I've ever had. Thanks Dona Esther's! We'll be back!

I am already a Dona Esther fan, but yesterday was my first drive over from Watsonville for the Sunday buffet. It was most definitely well worth the wait.
Enchiladas very good, only disappointment is the menudo !
The waiter we had on Sunday was horrible, he didn't come back to our table to take our order. There was only three other family in the patio. He had a family that were waiting for the bill, and two other family's that came after us. He took the others orders that came after us and one of the tables he stayed talking and laughing as the customer was faking a strong Hispanic accent. The food was excellent especially the beans and the carnitas. The soup was good. The salad was bland. Service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait time. This is a restaurant to go back too.
