We are the ultimate dog lovers vacation in the mountains of North Carolina. We feature luxury dog friendly cabins with hot tubs and wood burning fireplaces with spacious private fenced yards, provided dog beds, bowls, and towels. No obedience requirements, we accept all dogs regardless of temperament, breed or size. Canine Connections offers optional dog training and behavioral consults during your stay. Additional dog care services such as feeding and walks are also available.

We have stayed here two years in a row and it is well worth the 11 hour trip to get there! We are planning on going again this year. These houses are set up with your 4 legged family members in mind. The entire house is fenced in with a wrap around porch. This is what our dogs love the most. They love running the porch and jumping off into the very spacious yard. Perfectly set up for dogs who can't do normal "dog friendly" vacation housing, and great suggestions for trail choices from our completely unobtrusive host. The "cabin" was nicer than my own house, spotless, and well equipped.
Three dogs, a toddler, and 4 adults. We all had a wonderful weekend in The Tree Frog. The location is convenient--close to Brevard and Dupont Forest. And the setting is private and beautiful. The fenced in yard is perfect for dogs & the fire pit, hot tub are great amenities for the humans. The house is spotless. I would stay here WITHOUT my dogs. We will be back!
Five Stars certainly does not do Dogwood's Retreat Justice! Off the charts! This place is Amazing, Relaxing, Quiet, Serene... The list goes on.. This place can be anything you want it to be! We bring our 135lb Rottweiler, Roxie. She has a huge yard, totally accommodating to your Fur Babies! An amazing place to stay with your dogs. Beautifully decorated and impeccably clean cabin with a huge fenced in yard for the dogs to run while you relax on the wrap around balcony. Cabin is centrally located to great hiking, motorcycle riding and dog friendly establishments. The town of Brevard is dog friendly as well as vegetarian friendly and Asheville is just a short drive away. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay with all the comforts of home for us and our three dogs. We will definitely be back!!
Dog owners will tell you: dogs do grin and smile at times and you can see it, especially when its your dog. From the first minute we arrived until we got in the car to leave, our dogs were grinning and smiling. We were too. This is a great service/amenity for dog owning travellers.
