RecommendedDog owners will tell you: dogs do grin and smile at times and you can see it, especially when its your dog. From the first minute we arrived until we got in the car to leave, our dogs were grinning and smiling. We were too. This is a great service/amenity for dog owning travellers. Great amenities in cabin. Very nice to have fenced in yard, especially at night when you don't feel like putting on your shoes.
One of the best Surprises in Years! We were amazed by the accommodations- spacious, clean, and above all...very welcoming. Dog Beds ready for our 2 Retired Racing Greyhounds. The enclosed yard was plenty big for them. The upper deck on the White Squirrel was amazing. This is truly a Retreat for both 2 and 4- legged visitors! The rental was so nice we found ourselves racing back to the peace of Dogwoods Retreat. Thank you for this offering!

The home was beautiful, the surroundings were so peaceful, the hot tub was amazing and we got to bring our fur baby too! Couldn't have asked for anything more! And Nan was amazing to work with...we will be back!

Fantastic stay. We strayed at the Firefly cabin this week. Nan and Will are to be praised for providing a beautiful place for a great and relaxing vacation. The cabin was immaculate and they took care of all our needs. Our Weimer, REME, loved the yard and the hikes. We did see a dear, but missed the bear. If we can, we will be back. This was our 4th cabin rental and the others can't be compared to this one.
We had an amazing week at Dogwoods Retreat! We decided not to travel with our yellow lab bc we had little space with 7 of us in the Yukon! The location was perfect for us to travel each day to the beautiful state and national parks and then we were able to relax and be comfortable at night as a family. What a nice and relaxing vacation home. We would highly recommend Dogwoods!
