Used to eat there as a kid and went back yesterday to find that I still love it!

I don't intend to ever go back. After waiting in the drive thru for over 15 minutes to get my hotdog, I was so mad when I got home. I had ordered a number 2 which I stressed that I wanted chili only. I got home and when I unwrapped my hotdog, I had relish,cheese and very very little child. My fries was had been reheated as they were greased soaked and very hard. This meal cost me $8.37. Maple and Tyler location always has great service. Absolutely love my double burger plain with those never duplicated onion rings.
When I was a starving college student in the mid 70's I would go to the Dog N Shake that was on the Southwest corner of Harry and Hillside. That building is gone and they've moved across the street. My wife and I go every year on Valentines Day for a Double Dog Deal. It's what we do. Fond memories. Still a good deal and good food.
I'm a California girl. After having been in an argument of Dog N Shake vs In N Out for about a year, I was finally able to try it. The service was great, the people were very kind. I ordered a #1 the way it comes, because I thought that was the closest comparison to In N Out. It was really delicious. Didn't take too long. Was hot and prepared correctly.
