We had a church couples marriage retreat and spent 1 night eating here. We all really enjoyed our 1st time here and would recommend to all, if you want some great seafood, come to Doc's while in Orange beach or Gulf shores. We will deffently be back. Thank you.
After years of research up and down both coasts and the Gulf of Mexico, Doc’s has taken the title away from Connecticut for the BEST fried oysters! We have been here four times in the last four years. Do not even think about coming to Orange Beach without eating here because everything they serve is delicious!! The service is amazing too!!
The service! So friendly and attentive. The oysters were so good and cold. The fried shrimp was perfect. Light batter and tasty. The green beans cooked with bacon! Best green beans ever! Left a little pitcher of unsweet ice tea for me too. Highly recommend!
Best seafood close to Orange Beach. I ordered the build your own and had fried fish, shrimp and clam strips with some boiled shrimp as well. All was awesome!!
We stopped in after trying several other seafood shacks. Thank goodness we did! The others we visited was just bar food. The plates at Doc’s were authentic cooking! The GUMBO! I want to find out if I can order and ship me some back here in KC! Also, the servers were delightful! Thank you Susan!
It was okay. I was a little disappointed in the food and the service. I asked for cocktail sauce and the guy plopped a little container of horseradish on the table with no explanations. It was expensive for the food received. I have definitely been other seafood places that I like better.

Hope they improve on how they interact with customers. We didn’t know you have to make your own cocktail sauce. Didn’t even offer a suggestion. Food was good. Would I recommend this restaurant? I’m not sure.

Shrimp so good. Not gonna lie. Good prices. Everything comparable to the area but better tasting. Always try to eat here when we are in the area
Always great service and the food is even better. Well worth the 1 1/2 hr ride.
