Food was great. Large portions for dinner. They were able to accommodate our large group and the wait staff was excellent in keeping up with each person's order and getting our food out quickly.

Don't go for foo foo fancy. DO go for great fresh seafood and good service; even in October there was still a short wait, but well worth it and just as good as I remember from years ago when we used to take our grown and married children when they were children.

I wanted to love this place, but, alas, it was disappointing. The seafood at the little outdoor place next door is far superior. The friend clams, french fries, and cole slaw were good enough, but the flounder was mushy and rank. Fried oysters were greasy and not crisp. Hushpuppies were more like doughnut holes (very sweet). I brought a baked potato home and when I unwrapped it found it burned black on bottom and dry inside so that went into the garbage disposal. Service was good, but if you want good seafood, go elsewhere.

Worth the drive from Myrtle Beach. The shrimp was perfect and everything was fresh. Hush puppies are great.

Our family has been eating at Dockside for over 50 years. It is always awesome! The steaks are great too. Try eating fireside in the winter.
