Every time we go to Myrtle Beach, we always drive down to Dockside for our seafood. It's not as 'high priced' as the other restaurants and it is a whole lot better. This is definitely one 'stop' that we have to make on our vacations.
This restaurant was very average... No comparison to the other sea food restaurants in Calabash!

We went to Dockside last year and the service and food was excellent. BIG mistake this year. Seated promptly with a party of 8. Two people ordered broiled, the rest of the table had their food before one broiled arrived and most had almost finished eating before the 2nd broiled platter arrived. I only believe it showed up when it did because I spoke to the owner. He delivered with no apologies to my husband. AND, they never once offered to reduce the bill. The best place in Calabash to eat good food and great service. Been going there for years with the family we love it.
Food was good. However if you are looking for a dining experience, skip this place. Total "cattle car" mentality. Get you in fast, get you out fast.

Have you ever heard of having to pay extra to have a baked potato with your meal??? It's only a dollar extra but it's the principal. I would never go back.
