We are a laid back family style restaurant. We specialize in the original Calabash fried seafood: shrimp, flounder, scallops, oysters, deviled crabs and the best hushpuppies in the Carolinas. We also serve the best certified angus steaks in the area.

The first time I ate at the Dockside was 1968. I go every beach trip. There may be a wait, but it is worth it!!! Four generations of my family have eaten here. We love it!!!
Have eaten their twice and the food and service has been great. We will definitely make this one of our regular stops.
This may have been the worst seafood I have ever eaten. It tasted like grease and the portion size was extremely small. But the portion size was the least of our complaints because we only ate our baked potatoes. The flounder was tough to cut and was as chewy as beef jerky.
Great food and great service. Waitress was extremely attentive. It was our first time. Will definitely be back.

We had a table of 5 with a forty minute wait. Our waitress was so overwhelmed. We had to keep reminding her to bring things that we ordered. When it was time to pay it took us forever to check out because there was only one cashier and she was VERY slow. Not sure if I would ever go back.
Good food. We had scallops, fried shrimp, oysters, clam strips and boiled shrimp. Everything was cooked well. We will be back on our next vacation.
