Dockside Seafood House is a terrific restaurant with good food, great service and a beautiful view.
Great seafood where you can sit and see the water as you eat. The service has always been good and my family has always driven here to Calabash, NC every year that we come to Myrtle Beach on vacation just for their excellent priced seafood that you can’t get anywhere else...it’s a tradition for more years than I can count back!

We ate here( Dockside in Calabash, NC) tonight and will never be back. I made this post public. There was a dead fly in my husband's tea and the waitress spilled tea on my $300 purse. Unbelievably the owner still had us pay for our meal. Full price at that. I'm sure after you read this you won't go back to this nasty restaurant. Also the food taste like it was fried in lard. Good traditional seafood, fast service, and peaceful view
Dockside has always been a favorite of ours. Sadly, this time it wasn’t so. The service was great. The food however was very greasy. My husband had the deluxe platter, I had the shrimp, oysters and scallops. The portion size was reasonable. The prices were high even for the portion size.
Our normal tradition when we come to Calabash for vacation.
We’ve been regulars at Dockside for fifteen years. We used to rave about their food and their prices. Something has changed. The food has become just okay and the prices have soared. Trying a different restaurant in Calabash next time.
