Popular for Asian fusion at shoestring prices, this trendy spot blends elements from the cuisine of many Asian nations to produce a truly unique menu. The noodle soups and mixed Asian pastas are great, or try one of several cabbage wraps or the Chinese scallion pancakes as an appetizer. Don't let the crowd scare you away; the line moves quickly. The cozy interior features tiny tables arranged with little elbowroom. For more space, wait a few minutes for a seat on the elevated patio that looks out over Highland Avenue. Check ... read more

An End to World Hunger – To the person who complained he couldn't taste the food, where did you lose your tongue? I am 70% taste impaired (no joke) and the main reason I learned to like Thai food was because I can register the taste of the spices in a way not possible with American food. I have stuck with Doc Cheys at least 85% of the time as my Thai restaurant of choice. Why? The food is always fresh, the seasoning is always balanced, and the portions are always a great value for your $$. And to the person who said he didn'... read more
Great casual eating – No, not 5 stars, but not meant to be either. They opened a 2nd location last year - must be pretty good. I love the curry dishes, and the casual dining. Highly recommend it. (except for your snob friends).
cheap but good eat – this place is great for the value. service is nice and speedy. the envirnoment is a bit noisy and a bit lacking on the romantic side, but it is a great place to go for a quick bite with friends. another place i could recommend if you like doc chey's is "Noodles" in downtown decatur. Noodles is a noodle house also owned by the same person. the noodles there are excellent.
Pedestrian – Totally unremarkable and uninteresting. Typical mediocre American style noodle food. I guess the appeal is the super-sized portions? As if we need to consume more empty calories and carbohydrates. No thanks.
Nifty noodle house – Delicious food with lots of flavor. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Not too fancy. Heaping portions for little money.
Boooooo – This place is not that good. The food just is average. Nothing special.
Is this the best value in Atlanta? – I have to order something other than the Thai Spicy Basil Chicken. So good, such good service, so cheap.
Love the Noodles – The Chicken Noodle Soup is just like mom used to make!!! Make sure to ask for the wontons on the side.
You are CRAZY-It's GREAT – I love this place. I could eat there every day. I take all of friends. The Spicy Basil Chicken is to die for and shrimp rolls are excellent. Try the Pad Thai. My kids love the place.
