About this business

Popular for Asian fusion at shoestring prices, this trendy spot blends elements from the cuisine of many Asian nations to produce a truly unique menu. The noodle soups and mixed Asian pastas are great, or try one of several cabbage wraps or the Chinese scallion pancakes as an appetizer. Don't let the crowd scare you away; the line moves quickly. The cozy interior features tiny tables arranged with little elbowroom. For more space, wait a few minutes for a seat on the elevated patio that looks out over Highland Avenue. Check ... read more

Fast Food Thai – It's exactly what you expect, fast food Fazoli version of Asian noodles. We got the spicy basil noodles and it was spicy, but flavorless. The Thai Basil rolls were pretty good though. Wouldn't come back here, but is a good way to get kids or picky eaters introduced to Asian cuisine because it's pretty bland and Americanized.

I'm addicted to Doc Chey's Chicken Massaman! – I have been going to Doc Chey's for years and I absolutely love, love, LOVE the Chicken Massaman! I also love all their tasty appetizers - especially the edamame and shrimp rolls. I always experience GREAT service and the food quality is excellent. I wish that they would open one in the Brookhaven area, but my waist line would probably suffer because I would eat there all the time!

I’m not sure how we got to this place, but I'm glad we did. I had a very great dining experience at Doc Chey's. The food was excellently prepared and the quality of the food also reflects the type of service they provided. Everything was awesome.

A place I couldn't live without – Dear Doc Chey's Pad Thai with Chicken, I love you. I love you so much. I don't know what I'd do without you. Whenever I am in the mood for Americanized Asian food, which happens quite often, I must have you. You are so good. And I'm sure you're friends are good too, like Japanese Teriyaki Udon or Spicy Szechuan stir-fry. In fact, everytime I come to see you I look at the menu, and I think to myself, "Self, maybe you should try something different this time." But then Self is all like "Screw ... read more

less than stellar – I went to lunch yesterday (10-6-08) because of the reviews here. This is mediocre food(at best)...not a place for 5 stars...I am not talking about fine dining 5 stars....I am talking about what they do, their specialty is just alright. I had the special Kung Pao...no real flavor except HOT! Kung Pao is a really flavorful dish so I was surprised. I added soy sauce to make it taste like something. My friend had Red Thai curry....I tasted it. It was alright, nothing to write home about. They were very very s... read more

Yummy! The BEST! – Great food. Their noodle bowls are *huge* and very tasty. I usually end up either splitting a bowl or making multiple meals out of the left-overs! Their lettuce wrap appetizers are absolutely amazing. I?d get those for my whole meal if the rest of their food wasn?t better! They?ve also got some sort of teriyaki seared green beans that we get quite often which are great as well! I?ve been getting the Chey?s Imperial salad which is very yummy, however, I?ve tried their other salads and wasn?t as impressed. I... read more

Award-winning, Best Noodles, Affordable – Doc Chey's isn't your typical boring mom-n-pop Chinese restaurant. No, no...Doc Chey's is MUCH better than that (and healthier too!). This is the place where I always bring out-of-town friends. Doc Chey's is pan-Asian, so they serve noodles, stirfries and dim sum inspired by mutliple Asian countries. The oversized noodle bowls are what they do best, but I've grown to adore the dim sum menu too (try the Shanghai dumplings!). Dim Sum is around $4 a plate, and entrees are $6-$8, which i... read more

Not Good – Food was typically American-pleasing fare. Very unauthentic Asian food. I would rather get served by an insect ridden Chinese restaurant hole in the wall. At least there they wouldn't pretend to be making something authentic.

I used to love this restaurant – Used to be, this is one of my favorite restaurants. They keep changing their recipes, but not always for the better. They only have deep fried tofu, not good. They do not grill chicken for their dishes anymore, instead the chicken has coating= more fat. Too bad. I hope they change back. Why change when things are good the way it is??? All together, still goood place to eat, but great anymore. :- (
