I've been to the Dobbin House multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is amazing, the gift shop is nice, and the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I've had dinner in the basement, upstairs, as well as breakfast in the main dining hall and everything has been wonderful. I went there most recently as part of my Bachelorette party and not only were they sweet enough to take photos of the group, but our server handled all the shenanigans well. I am always satisfied every single time I get the split chicken dinner. The food is amazing! The staff is awesome! The atmosphere you can’t re-create! Every time we come to Gettysburg we come here.
Always exceptional service and wonderful dining experience! Soooo obsessed with the date nut bread that we just had to bring a loaf home this weekend !! Great memories made here over the years! A MUST dining choice while visiting Gettysburg!
The upstairs fine dining is awesome. Would without hesitation recommend having dinner there. Seafood Bisque rocked as did all food served. Wait staff did fantastic job. Will eat there every time I visit Gettysburg
The french onion soup is one of my favorites! The setting, history, dining by candlelight, and friendly staff...just made it that much better.�
French onion soup was excellent! Enjoyed the entire meal. Joyce & Alan gave superior service on an extremely busy Friday evening - they are real masters! Atmosphere was fun also! Highly recommend a visit!
We go to the tavern every time we visit Gettysburg and it is always fantastic especially the onion soup.
