I’ve been visiting the Dobbin House & Springhouse Tavern since I was a kid. The atmosphere & history of the building is great. My kids enjoyed seeing everyone dressed in the Civil War era attire. The food is good but don’t expect to have your taste buds wowed. The Kings Onion Soup has always been my favorite item on the menu. I enjoyed the spinach salad with warm bacon dressing. My family has been going to the Dobbin House for many years. And it is always been a wonderful experience. The food is always great. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere delightful. Our experience last night was once again superb! Well done Dobbin House.

My husband and I are vegan and they went out of their way to accommodate us at my husband's office holiday party held in their ballroom. They even had a vegan dessert for us!
Great food and service. The ambiance is excellent too. And there are several different dining options to choose from. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner Next time, i will probably do sone sightseeing and then hit the tavern, just to make the experience a little different I walked parts of the house and you can experience the old cellar, and where the escaped slaves used to hide I will definately come back!
