Charming large house built in 1776. (Has A/C) Waitresses wear Civil War era clothing. Food was excellent and very good service. They took me in very graciously just before closing. Date night material, for sure.
The best of everything—dinner, lunch and the servers!! (Try the roast chicken!! AMAZING!) I got the Springhouse Spread this time. The bread that comes with it—so good!!
Prime Rib and Pork Tenderloin were excellent. Our waitress, Kelly, was also exceptional
What a great restaurant with a fascinating history. Servers were costumed in colonial garb and the food was marvelous. The French onion soup and the “sallades” were fabulous, but the star was the sweet bread. We bought a loaf to bring home!
I had just come into town and needed a place to eat lunch. It happens to be across the street from the hotel I was staying at so I walked over to see what was there. After visiting the gift shop upstairs I walked down the steps to this hidden gem. I had the most amazing onion soup with a Caesar salad. Both were delicious. The service was amazing. What a great atmosphere. Dim lighting accented by candles, wait staff in period costume, just a wonderful experience. A must visit when in Gettysburg.
My Wife and I go to the Dobbin House at least twice a year. Great food, I’ve tried just about everything that’s on their menu.
Excellent food in a timeless place.
Excellent food and service
Best filet I’ve ever had!! Kids also loved their steaks!
