My family (including a 3 and 5 year old) were in Gettysburg for the day touring and we decided to eat here for lunch. I liked the history of the building. Our favorite place to dine when in Gettysburg ! Always a wonderful experience . Authentic atire delisious food. Pleasant staff. Wonderful experience both up stairs dining or down stairs pub Dined there last year with my parents My father wasn’t feeling well from his chemo. The staff very caring and understanding. Fun tavern from yesteryear complete with decor and waitstaff attire. Pleasent and efficient staff. Hubby ordered the seafood chowder, which was awesome, and the pork loin dinner. I ordered the Getty Shrimp (stuffed shrimp) also amazing. The homemade bleu cheese dressing is better than mine. It’s that good. The tavern had a wait, so we dinned upstairs in the main restaurant. Highly recommend it.
