We love going to the Springhouse Tavern. Great atmosphere, dark and historic. They have great food, friendly service and the French Onion Soup is exceptional.
Literally can cut your steak with a butter knife which is awesome because we ordered steak & crab cakes that melted in your mouth. Excellent atmosphere and wait staff! Definitely going back. Btw...cheese & fruit plate is a great starter with a salad.

Best steak sandwich ever!!! After visiting Gettysburg and having a steak sandwich at the tavern, we traveled on to Valley Forge for a couple days. On the way back home to western Pa, we detoured for a sandwich on the way home!
Great place! A lot of history too.
