DJ is the truth! She has such beautiful energy, and thorough expertise in caring for natural hair. She analyzed my routine and products and provided a thorough report that covered her insights on those areas as well as holistic health. I received a treatment, haircut, and beautiful style- half flat twists half two-stand twists. She goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. I started going to DJ Styles Hair Studio about 8 months ago and had a positive experience initially. However, my last 2 to 3 appointments have been increasingly disappointing. At my two appointments prior to getting the Hair Botox treatment, I noticed that the blow-drying technique was very harsh, and my scalp was burned multiple times, leaving me extremely uncomfortable. I visited DJ’s Styles Salon for a loc maintenance. I was expecting a thorough and gentle service, and I'm happy to say she exceeded my expectations! The salon was clean and welcoming, and Dj was professional, communicative, and attentive to my needs. My locs look and feel amazing after the appointment. I liked that she took the time to explain her process and offered a full consultation report and helpful tips for maintenance.
