Excuses, excuses, excuses – I wish I'd read these reviews before hiring Distinctive Cleaning. I've used them for many months. Not everything was cleaned flawlessly every time, but they always fixed the problems when I asked, and when I ask for a new cleaning person, they gave me one. Their cleaning was good -- not great -- but good enough for me to recommend them to a couple people. ok – They did a pretty good job of cleaning my home by sending most times 2 managers out but irresponsibly left my door and lock box unlocked twice.
Bad – These folks don't even know how to make beds, let alone clean a floor. We have given them several chances to clean correctly and each time we were as disappointed as the time before. Don't expect them to clean UNDER anything --- not under beds, not under tables etc...etc...
Easily the most unpleasant experience I have had – What's sad is, the cleaners were pretty good. There were some missed appointments, but the teams I had worked very well and were pleasant. Then they sent out only on person and charged the same amount, which it turns out was mistakenly high. Then they called to say that they couldn't come on the morning before I had a house guest and a small part planned. So I cancelled my service, and then the fieworks started. Discourteous and a waste of money – I used Distinctive Cleaning based on its rating of 9 here on Citysearch. Whoever chose that score was grading on a curve. I have never been so disappointed by a service in my life. I asked for a basic cleaning with the addition of cleaning the woodwork and vacuuming a couple of sofas. When I arrived after they were done, it was hard to see that they did anything.
