I was in Iowa City picking my daughter up from college (Go Hawks) and had a huge screw in my back tire. I live 4 hours west of Iowa city. A nice gentleman was kind enough to tell me about discount tire. I went directly there the service was amazing they got me in right away and then above all they told me that there was no cost!!! Fast, friendly and FREE! Nail in tire and they fixed it for free! Doesn’t get better than that!
Shout out to manager Stephen- I can’t thank him enough. First off, he was extremely patient as I am so indecisive. He ordered special wheels he didn’t have in stock and took great care of me in store. Only 3 of 4 tires I wanted were in stock, so we ordered the 4th. My wheels came on time, but the 4th tire ended up not shipping in when expected. Came in 30 minutes early to the appointment, but to find out at the tires that I had requested online were not in stock. I was recommended to purchase more expensive tires because the previous set of tires would require a revisit in a few days, and the friendly worker here took care of the situation by giving me a nice discount and allowing me to change the tires out in today's appointment. Friendly and fast service. Thank you, will use these services from this store again.

Had a screw in my tire took it to theisens they told me it was unrepairable and they also couldn’t order me a new tire.. Took the tire to discount tire in coralville. They said the tire WAS indeed repairable and that I would not have to purchase a replacement tire. They patched and fixed the tire, mounted the tire, reprogrammed the tire pressure sensors, and also stowed my spare back under my truck ALL FREE OF CHARGE. These guys are awesome and have my future business from here on out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Customer service was incredible, they helped me out so much when they didn't necessarily need to. Definitely going back in the future!
