Reliably great food, French dip is solid,
Food was not great. Tired the bombas and the jalapeño was pretty much raw with some bland cream cheese stuff. Buffalo chicken wonton were just egg roll wrappers with bland chicken chunks in a slight Buffalo sauce. Same with the mozzarella sticks - it seems like they just wrap everything in egg roll wrappers, fry, and call it a day. Great spot for lunch. Cool vibe, good selection of beers, and the food was really REALLY fresh. It's hard to tell with a bar/restaurant like this...will the food be greasy and gross? Or, will it be delicious, home-cooked, warmth that puts a smile on your face. With Dinghy's, it's the later. All the fried food wasn't greasy, but crisped to perfection - including the onion blossom and onion rings which were some of the best I've ever had. The coleslaw is also SO good. Loved the mozz sticks too!
