The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Today, Tony's family continue to maintain the high standards he established over 50 years ago.

We are from Canada and wanted to try the most authentic maine cuisine. The receptionist we talked to at our hotel suggested this place. It did not disappoint. Stunning atmosphere, querky staff and amazing food. We also went with our kids aged 7 and 11 and they enjoyed it aswell. We will be back!
First time here, but won't be the last. Our food was good for the most part. I got the fisherman's platter which was good but the French fries that came with it were awful. My boyfriend had the filet mignon which was very good. The reason I gave 3 stars is because our waitress seemed very unfriendly and didn't answer questions we had in a manner that didn't make us feel reluctant to ask. My special guy and I like to stop in to DiMillo’s for lunch when we are in Portland. There is just something we like about sitting at the bar and watching the activity in the harbor. Even in the winter on a cold gray day it feels cozy there. We both had the lobster rolls - so good. I love the way the rolls are toasted and buttered and the chunks of lobster are so fresh. DiMillo's is a great place to work! I love the DiMillo family! Come down and eat with us, the food is great, the view is outstanding and oh ya, the service is EXCELLENT! ha ha ha!
We go there occasionally and have never had a bad meal! Servers are excellent. View of the bay is amazing👍👍👍👍

No matter the day or time...Always a fabulous meal!
Delicious food! Great, friendly service. As a matter of fact, everyone we encountered, on the way in and as we were leaving was noticeably friendly! Our foursome stopped for a late lunch around 2:30 on a Thursday. We had wine before lunch and ordered Cobb Salads, chowder and the Crab BLT. The food was excellent! It was hard to choose among all the delicious lunch choices, so we will definitely be returning!
