The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Today, Tony's family continue to maintain the high standards he established over 50 years ago.

lazy lobster delicious as well as best seafood alfredo and broiled haddock. come here for mothers day every year. i usually have pecan encrusted haddock. another favorite. lobster bisque . my family always goes away full and happy

either they only post the 4 and 5's or the chef that was on last night was having an off night because our meal was horrible. I had the fisherman's platter, it was greasy and mushy and just awful, my husband's prime rib was ok but cold. We do not go out often, and when we do it is usually to Dimillo's, but the last couple of times we have been disappointed, so we will not be going back again. When you spend over $100 on a night out you expect to get a good meal.

When the size our wedding was too large for DiMillo's, we knew we had to have our rehearsal dinner there. Steve DiMillo, Jr was a dream to work with! He was very responsive to e-mails and phone calls, and was able to meet all of our requests. Late post as i visited begining of November but I just found this page! I kinda ran into this place and so glad I did. The bacon wrapped scallops are the best I've ever had. The lobsta was amazing as well! I got the big one and was worth every penny!
If I could give this place a million stars I would. Huge rave review. First off, when we were first seated the kids were each given a bag a teddy grahams to snack on while we waited for food, which if you have kids you know how cranky and obnoxious they can get sitting waiting, so that was awesome. I would like to thank Mr. Steven DiMillo. My moms birthday is today & we went to dinner on DiMillos Floating Boat this afternoon. He came to our table to say hi. & ma just mentioned it was her birthday. We go there a lot but most of the time for special occasions. When our waitress brought the bill she said he paid for my moms dinner & let her keep her birthday card coupon for another visit!! We were very surprised & happy. Best clam " chowda" I have ever had. Scallops were to die for. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Will go back for sure !!
