About this business

The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Today, Tony's family continue to maintain the high standards he established over 50 years ago.

My husband and I came to Portland for our 32th anniversary . We wanted the view of the harbor so we wanted to try Dimillos for the first time. The Salmon dish was to die for. It was a wonderful experience. We Would go back again.

It's been almost 6yrs since my first visit to DiMillo's and I'm glad to see that the food is still amazing and the atmosphere is still warm and friendly. A definite pearl amongst seafood restaurants.

This is one the very Best restaurants that I have ever been too. I have been blessed with many travels through out my years. The service, the atmosphere, the freshness of the seafood, and the chef. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area "This is a Must Try". Places like this one have also influenced us to want to move close by (among many other reasons), so we are leaving our home in North Carolina and relocating to a close by Lake in Maine. We are looking forward to many more visits to DiMilo's.

Never disappointed. I have been going to DiMillo's on the Water for Years. Ever since the old Paint Pot Crew (My Dad) included brought me. 1991 or 92 maybe? Do I get the same thing every time? Well (Not everytime) but the majority of the time yes, I start with the Calamari (mouth watering) onto the Broiled Seafood Dinner (You can't get this fresh and perfectly cooked Seafood) Just anywhere. The Wine list Fabulous- At this point I am beyond full- Generous portions Desert- I get Bread Pudding to Go... Anyone needs me on Easter... read more

Food was delicious, and the waiter, Justin, was incredibly informative, polite, fast, and funny. I've never had a waiter as excellent as he was. I hope he gets recognition there for being so great.

Food was delicious, service( shout out to Bob!!) and atmosphere was excellent. Mudslide was to die for!! Definitely worth the price, get your money's worth and plenty of left overs to take home!!

The Finest Seafood I have Ever tasted at a Fair and Reasonable price and the Service was great as well thank you for making my Birthday a Very memorable one they say presentation of the Food is everything the way the Lobster was arranged one the Plate was priceless we hope to return in the near future.
