The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Today, Tony's family continue to maintain the high standards he established over 50 years ago.

We had our rehearsal dinner here just over a year ago and couldn't have asked for better waitstaff, location, food or overall experience. Steve and the crew handled everything perfectly. Highly recommend!
Went there for a late lunch, staff, waitress and management were great. I definitely recommend and will return there again!
I have written a post on your page after being denied a seat because of our stroller even though we could see plenty of spots to fit it she didn't even look. Would you tell someone there wheelchair couldn't fit? We tried to call and talk to manager to get hung up on when we said why we were calling. I am very upset we are frequent eaters here.
We just had our rehearsal dinner here last weekend. Steven, Jr. really made the planning process so easy and everything worked out perfectly on the night of the event. It was nice to have the outdoor and indoor space, and I think it was a perfect introduction to Portland for a lot of our guests! The staff was so helpful with planning the timing of the evening, and also with any questions that came up. Dimillo's will always be a special place to us, and we can't wait to go back and visit.

My family has been coming here to celebrate my birthday for years. This year due to work schedule I can only come for dinner (we normally go for lunch). I get the same thing every time, which is the scallop roll. We called and asked if they would make an exception and do the roll for dinner even though it's on the lunch menu. Even though we made them aware it was of it being a birthday exception type thing, they still said they couldn't slap scallops on a hoagie for me. Have wonderful meals with family every time I visit from Florida. This trip did it twice. Live on the Atlantic in south Florida and nothing comparable down there.
Always the best since my first time in 1982 until this day's the best lobster's paradise
I had the fried scallop sandwich, it was delicious, but to small for the price.
