I haven't used DigitalOcean in over two years and was just charged today. Support is extremely slow considering this situation. I'd make sure to check your bank or credit card accounts for charges. I will be going back and checking each month for charges now. I recently paid off my card to shut it down and couldn't because of digital ocean.
Host all my development servers with Digital Ocean. Their interface is fantastic, you can spin up a server in minutes. Their documentation is top notch, and have amazing official and community tutorials. Digital Ocean is more than a server host, it's a place where you can learn and grow too! :)
Account locked with no explanation or solution directly after sign up. Very poor experience for a potential new customer.
Cheap and good quality cloud hosting.
They suspended my account for an absurd reason. I got no reply on why. Don't use them.
I have been trying to contact your Abuse department regarding many sites on your server which steal and publish my Instagram content without permission. I have not received a reply since the beginning of September - only automated messages. There has been no human interaction. Frustrating and upsetting to say the least.
