Have used them several times for projects as simple as Apache hosted web-pages, to integrated Flask deployments with LDAP. The thing that makes DigitalOcean stand out from the rest is their fantastic knowledge-base. It's rarely out of date, and there are guides available for whatever project you are wanting to do. Fantastic company, have had no negative experiences thus far. Would highly recommend.
No because, support is very very bad, tutorials are old, and not updated with current state of cloud...Problems with login to phpmyadmin,mysql, instalation of node.js etc

Really really bad service! After three attempts and ONE MONTH trying to fix my login problem with the support, I can not still login to my account and the support still says that there were no login attempts BUT how I could then create a droplet and HOW I could get a invoice this month for it? This company is driving me crazy. DO NOT USE THEM!
Stay far far away and pick a "real" cloud hosting provider like Google or AWS. My account was disabled because they had to "verify" my account. The droplet disabled for a week and I was still charged for that period ($460). I will do my best to make sure no one uses DO ever again.

These guys are joke. Worst experience ever, the customer service is just awful...like 3rd world and cant speak English horrible...like bad. i had to repeat myself 4 times though there customer service system. Even then i couldn't get a solution to why i was locked out of my vps......Fucking Joke go to virmach, chicago vps, hell amazon is better than this.
