On July 2, 2016, I had a brain stem small vessel stroke. Dr. Diethelm is a remarkable physician who is analytical and thoughtful. He works at a high level of efficiency. I especially appreciate his communication skills - active listening, attentiveness, clarification. He has worked cooperatively with me and my family throughout this frightening health crisis. Dr. Diethelm is professional, polite, warm and open to questions. I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to him and his staff.
I love Dr Diethelm, he has helped me in more ways than one, and when i see him in the hospital i just want to grab him and hug his neck for being here for me. He is the best Dr that i have and i have quite a few. I love you Dr Diethelm you make me feel so safe and comfortable. When you walk into the room all my fears are gone. Minimized the issues I have which are constricted vessels in the brain stem and multiple lesions. My husband asked a fairly simple question about any possibilities of early onset dementia or Alzheimer's and Dr. Diethelm's response was to abruptly hand my chart to his Nurse Practitioner and leave the room without answering. I found this to be very unprofessional and alarming. I was told to play Lumonisity to improve memory and problem solving skills. In the past year both have diminished greatly.
Horrible Dr. Spent less than 3 minutes with me and told me to take a med that I had a previous reaction to and ended up in ER. I had enough knowledge and walked out knowing I would never take the med. Told me I had neuropathy without even pulling a lab. B6 toxicity. Thank God I figured it out and am healing..this Dr is horrible.
Dr. Diethelm has treated two of my family members. He has treated us with the utmost respect and dignity. I feel confident in trusting my loved ones' care to him.
He made me feel as though he was looking down at me like he didn't believe a word I told him. A Doctor or nurse should never look down their nose to a patient under no circumstances. No one knows how I feel better than me!!! I know when something is wrong with my body.I will never use this doctor again!!!
