The food was AMAZING! I can't wait to go back.
Very nice and friendly staff. The food was amazing, parking was easy and the menu was interesting. The price was also great! Come check them out rather you're a Vegan or not.
Met the fine folks of this establishment at VegFest2014.... best Mac & Cheese I have ever tasted.... fried tofu and greens were wonderful... I will be traveling to visit the restaurant. ..but I already know all the food they serve will be top notch :-)

Totally disappointed in Detroit Vegan Soul! We called to place a carry-out order, was told they don't take then on Sundays, but could come in by 3:30 p.m. to place an order. We drove 45-minutes, got there at 3:18 p.m. to be told that no more orders were being taken because the kitchen was backed up. While I understand things happen, I would think this establishment would make provisions to accommodate more customers, especially since this is lent season, and to be turned away even after explaining our commute was unacceptabl... read more

The food was simply delicious and season well... A great take on soul food with a neo-jazz atmosphere...
Absolutely LOVED the spinach lasagna and the collard green spring rolls were to die for!!! My new fav carry out food, I'm in love.
