Love the food and the staff rocks. They do a great job at accommodating dine in customers.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had Smothered Tempeh, Seitan Pepper Steak and BBQ Tofu. The server was very pleasant. The only downfall was waiting an an hour and twenty minutes for our dinners. I don't know if this is a common occurrence or if they were filling carry out orders before dining room customers tonight. Having a reservation didn't seem to make a difference to the wait. The food would definitely bring me back, but knowing I might have to wait over an hour for my meal might keep me away.
Good food and the staff was very pleasant, helpful and prompt. This was my first time here today and I will be back again.
Had Pepper Steak dish and my lovely sister had soul food platter. After stealing from each other's plate, we both settled in for a satisfying, delicious meal. Topped off a slice of carrot cake. Divine!

Didn't know such a place exist and in my hometown Detroit! Just caught the tailend of your restaurant's premier on public television. My daughter is vegan and this will be a great place for us to connect when she return home from college.
Omg!!! This place is awesome. The DVS burger was delicious!! Along with the greens, yams, and sesame broccoli. yum yum!! The service was phenomenal.
I love the food here, the staff are friendly and polite. I am never disappointed!
Super friendly staff. Amazing food. We shared DVS Miller burger and pepper steak....WOW. So good. Okra stew and corn muffin were yummy as well. German chocolate cake was also delish. In group of 10ppl, all meat eaters, only 1 person wasn't really excited about the food.
