This is the first restaurant where I've had vegetarian/vegan collard greens that were done right, nice and smokey; I enjoyed the food here more than the "famous" vegetarian/vegan places I've eaten at down south! Thank you for having real collard greens, as a side, and not just kale. It can be hard to find any kind of southern style vegan food when eating out, I still can't get over that there is a place, here in Detroit, that specializes in vegan soul food. This was one of the best meals of my life! The BBQ tofu was out of this world, as were the collard greens. I don't live nearby, but this is worth a special trip! I'll be back for sure.
Took my family to this very cozy and friendly restaurant and the food was outstanding! And my 3 kids loved the mac and cheese
Great food and great service! The Soul platter was wonderful, as were the hibiscus punch and cupcakes with coconut bacon.
I was on town for 2 weeks a found this place on the tail end of my trip ...so I ate there 2 days in a row..Baby let me tell you, the place is adorable, the music is on point...but most importantly. ..the FOOD IS AMAZING...I don't know whats in the mac n cheese, we know its not cheese but they fooled me, the spinach lasagna...just divine. ...Do your body a favor and enjoy yourself!

Southern fried wrap is amazing.
There aren't enough stars to accurately depict how awesome this place is. I went on the open mic night the service, atmosphere, and OMG the FOOD!!! Super Awesome!!!
