Had to take my wife there. Ended up at fast track and all they wanted to do was heard her thru there. Worst Hospital I have ever been to. Would not let them treat a cockroach. Do not go there. You are better off going to a vet then this place. They don't have the nickname "Death Valley " for a reason!

A little over a year now I ended up in the ER with muscle contractions head to toe. Incredible pain, fever of 104, BP 73/22, pulse at 140, couldn't walk, etc. and I sat in that waiting room for 5 hours like that. There were only two other people in there, one had a skin issue, the other a stomach ache and came in after me. Both taken in first. I currently went to this Hospital last week , Sat in the Er for over 8 hours in pain . As soon at 6am hit and the morning crew came in I was out the hospital in less than a hour .
For not having many people in the waiting room it took way to long to get into the ER to be seen.
Dr. SUMAN THAKKER has been treating my rheumatoid arthritis for 25 years. This outstanding physician has been nothing but a blessing to me. The one time I was hospitalized at Desert Valley was around 10 months ago. I did not have to wait in ER because I was brought by ambulance. My treatment was outstanding and I was very impressed. I had heard the horror stories before but for me I have nothing but good things to say about this Hospital. Wow! Reading the other reviews and I have only the most positive things to say about this hospital. From the very first time I've walked in the door everyone has been so kind and very helpful. My Mom had open heart surgery and every nurse and doctor has been nice. I love this hospital.
Great staff..prompt attention and awesome smiles :)
Wife was in a roll over accident and was transported there by ambulance. They sat her and my 10 year old in the waiting room with cut pants to her waist and refused to do any type of prescreening. Went to st marys and they took her back right away. Desert valley hospital is sad and should be shut down.
