I went to the newer 6400 Hickman location for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to get in. I called & was able to get an appointment an hour later. I arrived early and only had to wait in the lobby for 5 minutes. At the other Unitypoint location I used to go to, I had to wait 55-70 minutes after my scheduled appointment time every single time for the last 3 years. Everyone at the Windsor Heights location was polite, welcoming, and helpful. Thank you!
Today was the worst experience I've had at a doctor's office. Dr. Jay Allen Johnson, who I saw today at their Ingersoll location, was sarcastic, condescending, and talked over me for the entire visit. He made it clear that he didn't care what kind of pain I was in or what treatment I received to improve my current condition. All of this happened in front of a medical student. RecommendedHad great customer service from Dawn in Cardiology. She went above and beyond to help get me scheduled as soon as possible so I could get cleared from surgery. She made multiple calls between my primary care, Tricare the hospital and communicating with me. Made me feel heard and cared for when I was feeling forgotten about and in pain. The staff is incredible... I have All the LOVE and RESPECT for the Techs(CNA'S and CMA'S), ALL the LPN'S and RN'S (YOU ALL are the very best at what you do... I have ALL the LOVE and RESPECT for ALL the DOCTORS/SURGEONS. ... UNITY POINT/METHODIST HOSPITAL'S entire staff took exceptionally excellent care of me in July and October 2019. ..
