Totally love the place. Sad to see it go.
The turkey was wonderful, moist and flavorful. I also liked the salad, the dressing was yummy. The fresh hot rolls are to die for....and even though i'm lactose intolerant and gluten intolerant, I had a few chunks of bread and dunked them in the swiss cheese fondue. The apple strudel was so yummy I ordered a second piece and wolfed it down!
We are broken hearted to know the Rheinlander will be torn down and replaced with condos....💔 In about 1967 to 1972 my husband took German in High School and his class would make monthly trips here to practice their German. This is where he took me on our first date...and I will NEVER forget this epic experience. We have always made the Rheinlander our "GO TO" Restaurant for ANY and ALL celebrations....❤️ You will be sorely missed 😢
I am so disappointed that this will probably be the last time we can enjoy the great time everyone can expect to have at this very special place

It is a bloody shame that you guys are closing. Lord knows we need more condos
