The finest dining in and around Robertson County. When Mr. Elliott built his grocery store in his yard in 1922, then known as The Brick Storehouse, who would have known the building would eventually be the home of Springfields premier dining house known now as Depot Bar & Grill. In 1943, Mr. Elliotts son Otto, took the store over and changed the name to Elliotts Store. Depot needs to work on their wait system. After a 45 minute wait today we were called up and asked to be seated on the patio. While one employee checked the other took the next couple to the inside table which was empty. The other employee came back and said it would be another 20+ minute wait for a patio table. We decided to leave at which point we walked past the patio with an empty cleaned off table. If their employees can’t be truthful then I don’t need to spend my money there..
Excellent food plus great service! The weather is so beautiful now ! How about opening outdoor dinning at 3:30 or 4:00.!!!😍😎😄

I had chicken fried steak mash potato and cream spinach ,,, delicious and nice folks
Everything was amazing. Best fried green tomatoes,beef tenderloin so very tender. Carrot cake will last me a week!! Joe was the best waiter. Great way to end our day!!
