I could never recommend this hospital. My son broke his hip while roller blading at a park. The ambulance to him here even though we asked them not to. We told them we did not want to be in that place. My son was in so much pain and they wanted to give him pain meds through his IV that he did not want. Then it seriously took 2 hours just to give 2 regular Tylenol. Also they won’t do anything to help make comfortable in this place. I slipped and fell on the ice in Denver and fractured my fibula and tibia. I was lucky enough to be taken to Denver Health. From the surgeons, to the nurses, to the cleaning staff, to the people who transported people in beds, to physical therapists, to room service, to CNA's, everyone was so kind, polite, and made me feel welcome and made the experience so much less terrible. I was injured during back surgery at Denver Health. I have been in more pain since the surgery, than I had before the surgery. I need a steroid injection to reduce the pain. They just denied the next injection I was scheduled for.

I am 1700 miles from home & I broke my left arm & dislocated my wrist. Denver medical was absolutely amazing in caring for me. Made me very comfy & my anxiety was relaxed with every single staff who worked on me. Surgery went excellent yesterday & I am in very little pain or none at all. I am highly impressed!!! I was never contacted for an overdue bill of $80, instead Denver Health sent it right to a collections agency during the pandemic. I will never recommend this healthcare system again.

I have had chronic illnesses the majority of my life. Having been treated at numerous hospitals I can say, without reservation, that Denver Health is an AMAZING facility! It’s doctors, nurses, social workers and all other professionals provide truly excellent care and are sincerely dedicated to helping those in need. I feel secure in my care, trust my providers and have never experienced the level of genuine concern for my overall wellbeing at any other hospital! Thank you to all who serve through Denver Health!
