I feel my son wasn't treated with the same respect that was deserved. Yes he was in for abdominal pain and nausea but everyone exhibits pain differently. We as a family try to laugh it off. The fact that he cant remember when is last bowel movement was worried me as a parent and should have worried the doctor but didnt seem to. We shall see what his primary care says.

We went to Dell after being dismissed by a neurosurgeon at the Brain and Spine Institute in Bryan, TX, where my daughter, who had a broken VP shunt, was told to "wait and see." We went to Dell Monday afternoon because her pain had become unbearable (waiting and seeing accomplished nothing). I was worried that they wouldn't take her because she is 18, but since she had seen one of the neurosurgeons before and an imminent appointment, they accepted her.
