Dr. Delaney is a wonderful doctor who has assisted me in achieving mental stability. Rather than prescribe me medication that doesn't work (and sit on the sidelines as I lost a dangerous amount of weight as a result of the meds, like my previous doctor), she immediately put me on the right track and helped me deal with the actual issues in my life. worst visit ever-told this so called doctor that i had social anxiety.never got to speak, she just asked questions and then interrupted frequently when i tried to talk.after 30 mins of her yes/no questions which had nothing to do w the purpose of my visit, she excused me saying "we didnt click". i have never heard of such nonsense in my entire life. Wonderful psychiatrist. Dr Delaney has helped me thru a very difficult time. Compassionate, inspirational, honest, encouraging. She has my greatest respect.
After fighting depression for over 20 years and 4 failed attempts with other physicians and medications, Dr. Delaney has successfully treated my condition for over 2 years. She is a skilled specialist in treating depression and her expertise dramatically enhanced the quality of my life. The difference is like night and day. In the past three years Dr. Delaney has worked with me though some difficult business, financial and personal problems. Her down to earth, sometimes faith based, advice has always proven to be right on target. She has given me the tools I needed to make good decisions. Dr Delaney has been instrumental in diagnosing and treating my Bi-Polar / FMS symptoms and associated proper medication dosages. I appreciate her time and helpful suggestions as well. In addition, she works with the homeless and their problems. These can be disheartening and exhausting labors of love. However, she seems to relish these opportunities to help others in need, whether she is paid monetarily for her efforts or obtains satisfaction in other ways.
I began to see Dr. Delaney about 10 months ago. I had been coping with major depression for about 6 months and finally realized I needed some help to get out of it. I thought it would take forever. In fact, I was feeling much better in a few weeks. 10 months later I am my old self again (not to mention 80 pounds lighter). Thanks, Dr Delaney!
