Love this place. It's the perfect distance from Shaw AFB and a great location within Columbia. The apartments are nice and come with great appliances. The ladies (and now gentleman) at the club house are amazing! This is my second lease with Deer Meadows. I had an unexpected deployment which caused me to leave the first time. While deployed, I was able to get the same apartment I previously lived in which is exactly what I wanted. The apartments themselves are nice but the breezeways are dingy and covered with spiders. The complex itself is laid out weird for example the trash being all the way in the back. The amenities are never in working order like the pool being closed for nearly a month in the middle of summer. The gate is constantly broken and cars are backed up or either just wide open to all of the rift raft coming into use the amenities that we actually pay for.
