UPDATE: Kenneth, the property manager at Deer Meadow, gave me a call this afternoon. I am pleased with how well he handled all my concerns, and assisted with everything I needed to discuss. He confirmed that we are important community members, and genuinely made us feel valued here. Lived here for about a year 1/2. Never felt fully safe being here..the gate was never fixed in my span of living there and i would have to pester the maintenance to fix items in my apt. When I went to the leasing office to ask them to help change my smoke detector battery, they just gave me a battery and told me to do myself (I’m short, I had no way of doing this on my own- had get a friend over to help me). We lived at Deer Meadow for 2 years and enjoyed the experience. Maintenance requests were handled immediately, even ones I put in for lights in the breezeway. My only recommendation would be security cameras, especially in the back by the car wash because my husband and I both had things stolen from our car. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood worth the price. I appreciate the staff making the move in and out as easy as possible!
I’ve been waiting for months with maintenance requests and the fact that we pay for gated community and it has been being fixed and parts have been ordered for it for the last almost 2 years and it still isn’t working. I’m having issues with just people (visitors) sitting around at the bottom of the stairs asking for rides and illegal drugs which I have no dealings with
Gate has been broken since I’ve moved in last July. It’s funny because they really hyped up the “gated community” aspect of it. Price is pretty steep, almost 900 a month for a single bed room, no garage, no rented laundry, and no storage. Maintenance fees are pretty trash, seeing as though some gym equipment has been broke since move in. Also the siding is falling off of my complex, which you think someone from maintenance would inspect/ notice on a daily or even monthly check of the complexes. Recommend that some one from the Corporate office come and have an open discussion with the tenants so they can get the real problems.
