I truly enjoyed myself this weekend at DCCH! The staff was AMAZING! The food was awesome! And the overall views out back by the pond was great. Definitely a great place to visit if you're in the area. Ms Donna is truly doing an AWESOME JOB!

I absolutely had the best weekend ever at DCC.The manager is running a fine stay away from home . The staffing was super friendly and accommodating.. Beautiful rooms and spacious.. The food also was amazing.The pool was beautiful. I will be telling everyone I know about the DECATUR CONVENTION CENTER AND HOTEL.. I most defintely will be staying here everytime I visit Decatur, Illionois.. Thank you for a great stay.. �
We attempted to stay at; however, we were unable to do so as the entrance was blocked and guarded by men who did not appear to be hotel employees. These men appeared to be motorcycle gang members and a large number of motorcycles were visible from a distance. We were told by these men that there were no rooms and we could not stay there. We were not even allowed to cross the barrier to turn around and had to back up down a street in order to turn around. We booked our Delbert McClinton & Tommy Castro show in the Holiday Hall and received 5 star treatment from the entire staff, from maintenance and housekeeping and catering to top management. The room is beautiful and perfect for live entertainment. Easy access to several restrooms for larger crowds like ours was an amenity most venues don't offer. the venue worked pretty well, sound was great, the audience left much to be desired, for mature folks they remained loud in their conversations with each other, the CC doesn't have any control over this, but having the food and drink in the same room with the band always detracts from the performers - again, not your problem
