My mom and grandchildren had a wonderful time nice place to go away from my busy town and the staff was absolutely beautiful thanks guy's
More than we bargained for! Do to a family funeral we booked two rooms here, one being a handicapped room for my now ex-mother-in-law, the other for me and my two children. We booked based on price and handicap availability. The kids were wowed by the size of the place and the pool, the rest of us by the amenities and friendly staff. Decatur is not a place we had ever thought of as a destination, but if we were to return we'd certainly book here again. Stayed August 2011

Megan we are sorry that your stay was a challenge. Like all hotels we do require a form of payment at check in. Unfortunately most hotel systems are unable to differentiate between a credit or debit card. When using a credit or debit card to check in an authorization is placed on the card holding those funds to ensure the room is paid for. Even though it is just an authorization and the hotel has not charged the card and taken the funds out of your account the bank does pull those funds until a charge is finished processing ... read more
