Overpriced! Everytime I've been in here, I've found merchandise that is way overpriced for what it is. They claim to be offering only the best in used merchandise, but really they are just another thrift store. You are better off going to AmVets.

Bad SERVICE at Deborah's Next To New Consignment/Resale We experienced a very bad, very negative feelings at that store. The employers & owners were very rude, with uncivilized behavior, impatient, rude on the phone, and in person.

Bad SERVICE at Deborah's Next To New Consignment/Resale We experienced a very bad, very negative feelings at that store. The employers & owners were very rude, with uncivilized behavior, impatient, rude on the phone, and in person. They took one dress, but did not give us any receipt, and no price. When we came back later to take that dress back, they did not want to return it, and said that they don't have it. They were hostile, yelled at us, insulted us Instead of a polite conversation. The Owners were so uncivilized that w... read more

Don't trust 'em! I took items to Deborah's Next to New in order to sell them on consignment. From the moment I entered the store, I was greeted by the store's proprietor with insulting hostility. Because I'm the sort of person who chooses to give people the benefit of the doubt, I persevered, assuming that the proprietor was simply having a bad day. As she went through the items I was about to entrust to her for resale, she insulted and berated me while her employees exchanged knowing, fearful glances with one another and wi... read more

Happy days :) I just got in from shopping at Deborah's Next to New and it was wonderful. There was so much positive energy in the store starting from the warm welcome when I walked through the doors to the time I checked out. Deborah's employees were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their items in stock. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store. The prices were reasonable and I will continue to shop there and recommend Deborah's to all.

RIP OFF!! I had consigned several items, too many for them to list, so they just numbered them (should have left then). Went back a couple of weeks later, all new items that were still in boxes were no longer in boxes, boxes destroyed, one item broken. How can I sell these new items without the boxes or broken items anywhere else now? Was told to leave my items past the 60 days because I left them late in the month, so I did. At the 90 day mark, the items that I was told had sold (went back for the money) were "donated" to t... read more

Thrift store feel with Nordstrom prices I just got back from this store and I couldn't believe how high everything was priced. They did have some nice things but these items were the same price as buying it new at a nice furniture store and i know this because i've spent a lot of time looking around and pricing. The majority of things you could def. tell were used but priced as if they were brand new. There was a Kathy Van Zeiland purse that was completely haggard looking and it was priced at 59 dollars, I couldn't believe i... read more

person this store is a jewel in the hidden valley of escondido. it is fun, friendly and always has many great finds. the clothes are very high quality and diverse. the glassware, dish sets and furniture are also of the highest quality. I find something fun every time I go there. deborah's is one reason escondido is a cool and quirky city and the center of north county inland - i hope the store stays around a 100 years. i can't waity to visit this weekend.

Love this place soooo much!!! I love Deborahs Next To New!! I have been a longtime consignor/customer there for over 20 years! I am shocked at the previous review by Cristine P, she obviously had a bad day. They have a great policy about items that have been there too long, items get donated only after they are there too long. Go see the store for yourself, don't listen to the hater!
