The workmanship was great! We had a great experience from the moment we walked in the door until a few weeks later when the new fireplace insert arrived. It has been used almost daily since then. The workmanship was great and everything that was promised was delivered upon.

Scam artist Terrible company. They do not follow up on work they perform and caused damage at my house. Do not use them. they are scam artist. They have a F rating on BBB. I wish i knew this before i used them. The owner would not call me back and i have no choice but to sue them now to fix the issues they have caused. Save yourself and go somewhere else.
stove tech Most of the people that work there are good people but the owner is a pure a--hole that doesn't care about anyone but himself and his money. Don't let him fool you... he screwed over just about all of his good employees and thats the reason the service is so bad , even his restaurant is understaffed and running poorly. He deserves every bit of karma that comes his way.
BURNED MY HOUSE DOWN There is no way to rate this business with a zero or negative. RUN...do not walk...RUN AWAY from this business. They burned my house down. We have been and will be displaced for at least 6 months while it is rebuilt. They failed to install my stove or flue correctly and have been actively campaigning customers in their showroom that this was our fault somehow. Again, Dean, really? Terrible customer service and delivery I had to beg for wood pellets to be delivered when I paid for delivery in July. Appointment? No delivery, no phone call...just take a day of off work and wait. I ordered a spa from them in July for August delivery. By mid-September, no delivery. They state they have people waiting since May for delivery?! Who does business like this? Avoid at all costs.
BEWARE of Dean's....GO ELSEWHERE! I'm with everyone else here that has had a horrible experience with Dean's. Was over a year before we actually got the pellet stove to function as it should and that was only after having tech from another company come out to look at it. God fed up with the excuses from the Dean's techs (you aren't using the right pellets)...naturally! They want you to buy their over-priced pellets! Can't get through to anyone by phone....TRUE! Go elsewhere! I have had several bad experiences with Dean's over the recent past. I made the mistake of buying a propane stove there. It often takes me 20 minutes to get through to someone, where they check and have to recheck information. I made an appointment for a servicing for a Saturday, waiting 6 weeks for that appointment. I called the day of the appointment. Someone finally answered and said they did not see my appointment! They said someone would get back to me and no one ever did. T The worst! I bought a wood stove from them with installation for over $5,000.00. Smoke often fills the house. I've been told they should have installed the pipe at 45 degrees not 90 degrees and that is part of the problem. I've called Dean and left numerous messages. He never returns your calls. The service manager is arrogant and thinks he owns the place. They Quote prices to you and then don't honor them. They make appointments to come out and don't honor them.
