Another One Of Dean's Fools We purchased our pellet stove last Winter, 2009. From day one this thing didn't work correctly. I can't tell you the number of service techs that came here, all with the same old story. I got so fed up with them, I finally phone Lennox, maker of the horrible thing. Customer service not a priority We went to Dean's with the intention of replacing our pellet stove with a wood stove insert. We did find two we liked and asked when a sales person would be available. We were told we'd be next as soon as one of them was free. After 3 weeks of dealing with them they deliver the main stove but not the doors or mantle. Be weary of phony reviews We at Dean's want to make sure the public is weary of phony reviews. Dean's has made many progressive moves in the Hearth Industry to insure we take care of everyone. Wether it is expanding our Service Dept another 5,000 sq. ft, Install Dept 7,000 sq ft of added space, and a combined 15 new Service and Install techs. # 1 for many reasons Just bought my wood burning insert at Dean's. I had a great experience from start to finish. I worked with 2 different sales people who were knowledgeable and courtious. The 2 fellas that did my installation were TOP notch! I will tell all my friends about mt positive experience at Dean's. My only concern is it did take awhile because the place was packed. Oh yeah, my kids even had warm baked cookies hot out of one of their stoves.
Excellent sales personal I had a gas insert installed in my fireplace and it heats my whole house. 1500 sq. ft. From when I purchased it to the day when it was installed, It was a very pleasant experience. I have it for a year and they call me every six months to see if I have any problems.

worst dealer in new england Dean's may be the biggest distributor of stoves but they have the worst customer service of ANY STORE ever!!! They ignore the phone like the plague, if you are ever in the showroom, watch how the phone rings and NO ONE ANSWERS! Its as if they don't hear it. The management is the worst I have seen. They may know about stoves but have zero customer follow up. They themselves won't answer the phone and do not return phone calls.
